I have been going to this office for over 20 years. Today, the atmosphere continued to be absolutely professional, but there was a lighter side to it. Smiles, slight joking, laughter, yet maintaining their professional demeanor and care....always! It was certainly a refreshing experience, especially after being locked down for 2.5 months, and people just being scared and afraid...making them prickly. Thank you for a wonderful eye care experience today! Keep up the great work!
Dr Dinan is phenomenal. She saw my daughter within one hour of calling for an urgent issue. Once we were there she was patient and kind. Very informative as well. Overall a great experience with a wonderful provider.

Very professional Always on time for appointments
Everyone from the initial phone call for an appointment to final checkout were amazingly polite, patient and professional. We were seen same day as initial call, greeted with warm smile upon entry and walked through every step of what was being done and why it was being done. Instructions needed to be repeated and questions re asked but everyone was extremely patient and respectful with humor added to make patient comfortable. Every test outcome was explained and questions answered. We really felt we were listened to and not rushed. Would recommend and we are returning for continued care.
Terrific staff - everyone was kind, friendly and efficient. They kept me informed of everything they were doing at all times. Dr. Hwang performed my cataract surgery and was great to deal with. I got the light-adjustable lenses and the improvement in my vision is incredible. They did a lot of testing to make sure things were as good as possible when adjusting the lenses. I've gone from needing reading and driving glasses to not needing any glasses at all! I can't recommend the staff here highly enough. Thank you!
Dr Rothstein and the staff at The Eye Care Center in Canandaigua are wonderful. I had eyelid surgery 7 weeks ago and was thoroughly prepared and instructed on the pre and post op care. Had my 6 weeks check up and while the visit was quick I received all the attention and care that I needed.
My eyelids were sagging over my eyelashes. I went to the Eye Care Center just to see what could be done to alleviate the sagging. I was evaluated and it was found that a bilateral blepharoplasty was the appropriate treatment. Everyone along this whole process was friendly and courteous. From the scheduling of appointments, to the evaluation, then the blepharoplasty surgery - everything went smoothly. I am VERY pleased with the results! Thank you Dr Anna Rothstein!
Every appointment that I have had at The Eye Care Center has been good. I have seen several doctors. Now that they have a location in Macedon, it is a closer drive for me. Today I had an appt for a follow up of posterior capsulotomy (laser surgery after cataract surgery) A warm welcome at the front desk and an exam with the tech David (my fav) puts my visit at ease. Dr Hindman did the cataract and laser procedure and will continue to moniter the progress. She is kind, concerning and very knowledgeable. I would recommend the Eye Care Center to everyone.
I first went to The ECC in the fall of 2022, diagnosed with a torn retina. Over the course of several months, Dr. Piper performed laser surgery to repair the retina. I just returned from my annual follow up appointment. If possible, I would give this practice ten stars. Not only do I have unfailing trust in the expertise and skills of Dr. Piper, but each associate I have encountered in my many visits has treated me with courtesy, respect, and a genuine caring demeanor. I often ask the associates how they like working at The ECC and the universal response is, "I love it!!" I think that says it all. If you are seeking a provider of eye care, look no further. My Highest Recommendation.
Upon arriving for my appt. I was greeted immediately by a friendly receptionist. He took down all my information and was super nice as well as knowledgeable. After a short wait, I was taken into one of the inner offices where yet another person was to assist me by asking me questions and do some minor testing. Again, he was nice and addressed all my concerns. Then, Laura Dugo came in. I had met her many years ago when she worked at Visionworks in Geneva. She is not only exceptional at what she does but very kind and attentive. I knew I was one of her last patients for the day and yet she didn't rush through anything. She was thorough and explained everything in terms that I could understand. The check out process was easy and quick. I appreciate the fact that all who worked there were so genuinely friendly. It made my visit a very pleasant one. I would definitely recommend The Eye Care Center in Geneva. Now, if only I could get my husband to go there and have his eyes checked out. lol
All the staff, from the front desk, to Dr, and ending with glass fittings, were kind, patient, and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend!
