About a year ago, I moved to upstate NY and was in need of a corneal specialist due to an eye condition and Dr. Hindman of the Eye Care Center was recommended. The office staff is extremely professional, easy to work with, and efficient. I also wear scleral lenses, which are generally not covered by insurance, but Carol (contact lens "fitter") stated that the Eye Care Center pushes hard against insurance, which was true. Dr Hindman wrote a letter to insurance stating that the contacts are for medical purpose and therefore should be covered by insurance. This is the only Eye doctor I have been to that actually pushes insurance with regard to speciality contact lenses. Other doctors just say that insurance will not cover it and then charge me the full price. I am very satisfied with the care I receive and Dr Hindman is thorough and explains everything happening in my eye and if any next steps are necessary. I highly recommend the Eye Care Center!

I recently had to be seen emergently and called the eye care center for an appointment in the Geneva office. I was pleasantly surprised with how pleasant and kind the person was on the phone. I was given an appointment time for that same afternoon. I was very impressed with checking in, I believe her name was Susie. She was very pleasant and professional. I was then taken back to a room with Joy. I don't have enough words to describe how awesome she was! Then I saw Dr. Dugo. She was extremely pleasant and gave me a very thorough eye exam. She explained everything in great detail. I felt I was very well taken care of when I left!
I cannot say enough about this place and the people who work there. They are by far the best eye care I have ever had. From the doctors to the staff they make me feel like I am their only patient even though I know they are busy. They are the best I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I have been a patient of the Eye Care Center for several years. Dr. Ceravelo, Dr. Piper and Dr.Hwang have always been great! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and effective and efficient and I would not trust my vision to anyone else. They all are great people!

Cataract surgery on both eyes, one week apart. Dr. Holly Hindman. Excellent results. First time since I was 9 years old that I don't have to wear glasses all the time for near-sightedness. Cordial, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Very good at answering questions and letting you know what to expect before, during and after surgery.
Went into the Newark office and I will definitely recommend them to anyone. From start to finish my experience was great. The staff was friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. ( I had a lot )

I definitely recommend The Eye Care Center of Newark! The staff is great and I'm always helped promptly. I've never had any issues with my glasses (and I'm rough with my glasses). Quality is great and there is a section of frames for those on a budget, like me. Thank you Eye Care Center :).
